The plan is that 25th october we will travel by car across Italy, Greece and Turkey, and we will arrive by ferry in the north turkish side of the island...
The big news is that probably Giuseppe (the kayaks' builder) will join us, in order to test "on the field" with the team the kayak prototype. A 526 HV is in this moment in Palermo, in the hands of Giacomo, and we seriously started to considering the possibility to use two different hulls for Cyprus... It's now taken the decision to go with the prototype!
Alcuni mesi fa io, Piero e Giacomo abbiamo preso la decisione di posticipare la data di partenza per Cipro dopo il Simposio di Kayak da Mare Vulcanoa Marathon che stiamo organizzando alle isole Eolie dal primo all'8 ottobre 2009.
Il piano prevede che il 25 ottobre partiremo in auto attraversando l'Italia, la Grecia e la Turchia, arrivando con il traghetto sul lato nord turco dell'isola...
La grande notizia è che probabilmente Giuseppe (il costruttore dei kayak) si unirà a noi, per testare con il resto del team "sul campo" i prototipi di kayak. Un 526 HV si trova in questo momento nelle mani di Giacomo, a Palermo, e stiamo seriamente considerando la possibilità di utilizzare due scafi differenti per Cipro... E' ormai presa la decisione di partire con dei prototipi!
